The McDuffie County Board of Education passed its FY26 budget on June 26. For the fifth year in a row, the board has approved the recommendation from district officials to adopt the rollback rate on property taxes. Our staff takes pride in being a good steward of taxpayers’ money. This is demonstrated by the great strides we’ve seen in student success over the same time period. While the millage rate trends downward, the graduation rate has climbed from 81.9 percent to 91.3 percent. That means more of our future leaders are heading out into the world each year, ready for college, career, and life.
