Annually, the McDuffie County School System conducts a comprehensive needs assessment which includes a review of student achievement, stakeholder survey results, Student Information System reports, classroom observation data, and program evaluation outcomes. Results of this needs assessment are used to revise the components of the Comprehensive Local Education Agency Improvement Plan (CLIP), which is submitted to the Georgia Department of Education. The CLIP documents the district's planned use of federal and state funds to promote student achievement and to provide professional learning for staff.
All stakeholders are invited to provide input on the District Parent and Family Engagement Policy and District Improvement Plan, which can be found on the Federal Programs page of this website. Questions, feedback, and suggestions may be submitted to Dr. Lynn Cato, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, via email ([email protected]), telephone (706-986-4000), or the federal programs electronic feedback form.
