The 2019 CCRPI scores increased for all six schools in the district, one of only two systems in the CSRA area to accomplish this feat.

In response to industry needs, McDuffie County Schools seized the opportunity to reconfigure instructional space during the Thomson High School renovation to add a new metals lab.

McDuffie County’s students showed an improvement of nearly 6%. All sub-groups exceeded the graduation rate targets set by the Governor's Office of Student Achievement.

The McDuffie County School System was the FIRST in the state to apply and be granted the privilege of awarding the Georgia Civic Engagement Diploma Seal, effective with the Class of 2019. Interested students may inquire about specific seal requirements with their counselors.
